Richmond Heights Police Department Hosts Annual Golf Outing for Education

On July 28, 2025, the City of Richmond Heights and the Richmond Heights Police Department, will host the City's Annual Golf Outing at Stone Water Golf Club. "This event, has become a staple in the community", said Chief Williams. Mayor Thomas was very pleased with the success of last year's outing stating, "we were pleasantly surprised with the strong turnout by our friends and partners". Sgt. Patterson, Richmond Heights residents and other key staff members are actively engaged to ensure another successful event this year. The outing will bring together officers, city partners, residents, and business owners from across northeast Ohio, reflecting the strong community spirit of the area. Mayor Thomas emphasized the importance of the event, stating, 'It's great to be hosting this very worthwhile event again this year, the profits will go to deserving scholars in the City of Richmond Heights to continue their educational pursuits". This remark highlights the philanthropic aim of the event which focuses on supporting local education. In addition to their presence, officers and city staff also play a crucial role by participating on the event committee, organizing and facilitating the day's activities to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees. Dr. Brown, representing the local school board, expressed gratitude towards the city's efforts: "The School Board is very appreciative of the generosity of the city in putting on this event for our scholars."
