Richmond Heights Police Department Hosts Successful 'Shop with a Cop' Event

The Richmond Heights Police Department, in collaboration with the Richmond Heights Fire Department, organized a heartwarming 'Shop with a Cop' event on December 13, 2025, at the Meijer grocery store. This special day started with a delightful breakfast at Cortina's Restaurant, where participants gathered for a meal before heading to their shopping destinations. The event was marked by joyous interactions between law enforcement officers, children, and senior citizens as they shopped around Meijer grocery store. This year's event was particularly significant as it expanded to include not only 20 children but also 5 senior citizens, thanks to the generous contributions from Meijer and the participating officers. Several activity stations set up at the store further enriched the experience, offering fun and entertainment alongside the shopping spree. This initiative, part of the department’s annual community engagement efforts, epitomizes the strong community ties and the spirit of giving that the Richmond Heights Police Department fosters throughout the year.
