Two Wins and Two Losses: A Recap of Recent Games
Since May 8, the St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Titans have played four baseball games, winning two and losing two. On May 8, the Titans fell 8-5 to Miami Valley Christian Academy despite out-hitting them seven to six. Mason Creech led St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Varsity Titans with two hits. Miami Valley Christian Academy opened the scoring in the first after #50 hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. Miami Valley Christian Academy scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the second inning. #15 singled, scoring two runs, #28 singled, scoring two runs, and #50 doubled, scoring one run. Miami Valley Christian Academy added two runs in the third. #15 hit a sacrifice fly, making the score 8-0. Gavin French earned the win for Miami Valley Christian Academy. The starter gave up five hits and three runs over five innings, striking out four and walking four. Lucas Cannady took the loss for St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Varsity Titans.
