Geurts set the pace with the lowest round of the match, giving St Charles East a valuable foundation for its winning total. Her 43 finished two strokes ahead of the Saints' next two counting scores and helped create separation from the Lions.
Avery Szuch and Paula Ramirez provided matching rounds of 45, giving the Fighting Saints three scores in the 40s. Their consistency in the middle of the lineup proved important, with just two strokes separating the team's top three finishers. Ella Lester completed the scoring quartet with a 52.
The four rounds added up cleanly to the Saints' team score of 185, an average of 46.25 across the counting cards. St. Viator posted a 205, leaving St Charles East with a decisive margin in its home match.
