The St Charles East High School Fighting Saints girls varsity basketball team claimed a narrow victory against the Lyons Township Lions with a final score of 59-55 during the Thanksgiving Tournament held at York HS on November 20, 2025. Throughout the intense competition, the Fighting Saints displayed strong offensive strategies, consistently chasing the Lions. Key players contributed significantly, as the Saints battled back from the Lions steady lead through each quarter. The game was closely contested, but the Saints managed to secure their advantage in the fourth quarter and pulled away, finishing at 59-55. With this victory, the Fighting Saints improved their season record to 2-1. They look forward to their next challenge against Glenbrook South, which is also set to take place at York HS on November 21, 2025 at 5:30 pm.
