St Charles East High School Fighting Saints Basketball Team Faces East Aurora in Season Opener
The St Charles East High School Fighting Saints boys' basketball team opened their season with a challenging game against the East Aurora Tomcats. Held on November 24, 2025, as part of the Ron Johnson Thanksgiving Tournament at St. Charles East, the Fighting Saints were narrowly defeated with a final score of 65-58. This game marked their first of the season, setting their current record at 0-1.
Vince Armato was a standout performer during the game, leading the Fighting Saints with 14 points and securing over 10 rebounds, a commendable double-double that highlighted his significant impact on the floor. Mike Hill also contributed notably, matching Armato's scoring with 14 points. Despite the strong individual performances, the Fighting Saints could not clinch a victory.
