In an electrifying volleyball contest held on October 8, 2024, the Avon High School Eagles celebrated a decisive victory against the Amherst Steele Comets, claiming a 3-0 win that also secured them the Southwest Conference (SWC) Championship for the second consecutive year. The match, hosted at Amherst, showcased the Eagles' power and precision on the court. Dominating the match from the start, Avon outperformed Amherst Steele in all three sets, posting scores of 25-19, 25-12, and 25-16.
