St. Ignatius Defeats Avon Eagles in Non-Conference Basketball Clash

The Avon High School Eagles, Varisty basketball team suffered a defeat against St. Ignatius Wildcats with a final score of 76-52 in a non-conference game held at St. Ignatius on Feb. 3. Despite a halftime score of 37-30, in favor of St. Ignatius, the Eagles pushed hard in the second half but fell short. Tyson Ziegler led the Eagles' scoring, with 16 points. Looking forward, the Avon High School Eagles' basketball team is gearing up to face off against Berea Midpark on Feb. 6 at home. The Eagles, with their current season record standing at 11-6, are determined to rally and regroup at Hone on Tuesday.
