Volleyball team moves to 3-0 with sweep of Amherst
Avon’s boys volleyball team continued its winning ways Tuesday, sweeping its way past visiting Amherst by the scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-21. With the victory, the Eagles are now 3-0.
The outstanding all-around play of Logan Lam led the way for Avon, as the sophomore had 10 kills, 17 assists, 10 digs and two aces. Freshman Noah Mai also stood out with nine kills, 12 digs and three aces. Oliver Dobrovic chipped in with seven kills, and Finn Petzinger had six. In addition, Kyle Partridge had 20 digs and two aces, John Ling had 16 digs and two blocks, and Keegan Tarkany had 17 assists.
The Eagles will host Normandy on Thursday before traveling to Avon Lake for a match on Friday.
