Avon volleyball falls to 14-5 with loss at Perrysburg

In a matchup of two teams having excellent seasons, host Perrysburg swept Avon Friday in boys volleyball action, taking the match by the scores of 25-14, 25-20 and 25-18. With the loss, the Eagles fall to 14-5 while Perrysburg moves to 16-5.
Noah Mai led Avon with eight kills and 17 digs, and Landon Gomez had five kills. Keegan Tarkany topped the Eagles with nine assists, and Logan Lam had seven.
Avon will be in action again Monday when it hosts Midview.
