Boys lacrosse ends season with loss to North Canton Hoover
The season came to an abrupt end for Avon’s boys lacrosse team Thursday as the Eagles suffered an 18-5 loss to host North Canton Hoover in a regional quarterfinal game.
Avon, which had a seven-game winning streak snapped by the Vikings, ends the season at 13-4.
Finn Jerdonek was the leading scorer for the Eagles with two goals. Jace Barton added a goal and an assist, Sean White and Jude Theibert each had one goal, and Jackson Brokaw and Vincent Siftar had one assist apiece.
