Boys lacrosse opens season with 11-8 victory over Strongsville

Four different players scored at least two goals Tuesday as host Avon opened the season with an 11-8 victory over Strongsville in boys lacrosse action.

Leading the way for the Eagles was Jude Theibert with three goals and an assist. Evan Juergens added two goals and two assists, Will Conley had two goals and an assist and Jackson Brokaw had two goals. In addition, Fin Jerdonek had one goal and two assists and Jace Barton had a goal. Lucas Dean had 20 saves in goal for Avon.

Next on the schedule for the Eagles is a home matchup with Medina Highland on Tuesday.
