Volleyball team earns another sweep, taking down Bard, 3-0

Avon’s volleyball team got back to its winning ways Thursday, sweeping past visiting Bard Early College by the scores of 25-7, 25-13 and 25-16 to move to 14-4 on the season.

Landon Gomez led the Avon attack with 10 kills and also added nine digs. Finn Petzinger had seven kills and four aces, while John Ling had five kills and three blocks. In addition, Noah Mai had 13 digs and four aces, and Keegan Tarkany had 10 assists and three aces.

The Eagles are scheduled to travel to Perrysburg on Friday.
