Elgin High School Comets Clinch Victory at Varsity Golf Event Against Ridgedale
The Elgin High School Comets, representing the Varsity Boys Golf team, achieved a significant victory in the 9-hole stroke play held on August 12, 2025, at Three Sticks. Competing against Ridgedale High School, the Comets demonstrated exceptional skills and teamwork, concluding the day with a notable score of 125 to Ridgedale's 166.
Standout performances were observed from Logan Isler and Jacob Walker, both of whom recorded impressive rounds of 41, significantly contributing to the team's success. Their efforts, alongside other team members who scored in the low 40s, proved critical in maintaining a competitive edge throughout the tournament.
The Comets are now looking forward to their next match scheduled for August 18. With the team showing continuous improvement, excitement is building for what promises to be another engaging event in the Varsity Golf scene.
