Embry-Riddle Extends Lead; Ulibarri Moves to Front After Round Two of GSAC Women’s Golf Championship

LOMPOC, Calif. — Embry-Riddle strengthened its position atop the leaderboard, while The Master’s Hannah Ulibarri surged into the individual lead following Tuesday’s second round of the 2026 GSAC Women’s Golf Championship at La Purisima Golf Course.
The Eagles now sit at 635 (+59) through 36 holes after posting a 321 (+33) in round two, extending their lead to 18 strokes over OUAZ, which is second at 653 (+77). Arizona Christian remains in third at 662 (+86), followed by The Master’s (692, +116), Simpson (736, +160), and Soka (808, +232).
Embry-Riddle again relied on depth, placing four golfers inside the top 15 as it created separation heading into the final round. Lila Becker and Olivia Zamarripa both sit tied for second at 158 (+14), with Zamarripa carding a 77 (+5) on Tuesday. Charlotte Giffin added an 84 (+12) and is seventh overall, while Emma Marshall is 14th at 167 (+23).
Individually, Ulibarri holds a three-shot lead after following her opening 75 with a 74 (+2), bringing her two-day total to 149 (+5). Her steady play positions her as the only golfer under 150 entering the final round.
A four-way tie for second at 158 (+14) features Becker, Zamarripa, OUAZ’s Chiara Israng, and Hope International’s Miranda Cervantes. Cervantes made one of the biggest moves of the day, climbing into contention with a round of 75 (+3).
First-round co-leader Bellamaria Mantini slipped to sixth after an 84 (+12), while Arizona Christian’s Nikki Bowen remains inside the top 10 in a tie for eighth at 163 (+19). Teammate Taylor Crowder also sits tied for eighth after improving to an 81 (+9) in round two.
OUAZ continues to hold second in the team standings with multiple players inside the top 20, though the Spirit will need to make up ground in the final round to challenge Embry-Riddle.
With one round remaining, Embry-Riddle controls the team race, while Ulibarri holds a narrow but clear advantage in the individual competition heading into Wednesday’s final round at La Purisima.
