CLEVELAND, Ohio - Willa Streeter ’27 carded two birdies and the low round for Saint Joseph Academy as the Jaguars defeated Padua Franciscan 154-167 on Monday. The 13-stroke victory came in a match rescheduled after rain canceled the teams’ original meeting in August.
Streeter paced the Jaguars with a 34, finishing 3 over par. Her two birdies provided the highlights of the round and helped Saint Joseph Academy establish the scoring advantage it needed against the Bruins. The teams competed in partly cloudy conditions with a temperature of 76 degrees and winds at 9 mph.
Vera Swartz ’27 followed with a 38 at 7 over, giving the Jaguars two scores below 40. Ella Babcock ’27 added a 40 at 9 over, while Fiona Mulcahy ’29 completed Saint Joseph Academy’s four counting scores with a 42 at 11 over. Those four rounds combined for the Jaguars’ 154 total, 30 over par.
Saint Joseph Academy also received contributions from Reese Cupach ’29 and Izzy Streeter ’28. Cupach finished with a 43 at 12 over, and Izzy Streeter posted a 47 at 16 over. The Jaguars’ depth supported a balanced performance as Padua Franciscan finished at 167, 43 over par.
The Jaguars will next host Laurel on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, at 11:45 a.m. EDT.
