Swartz's 83 Leads Saint Joseph Academy to Seventh at Girls Invitational
Laurel Hosts Girls Canterbury Tournament
Saint Joseph Academy placed seventh among 16 teams Tuesday at the 2026 Girls Invitational hosted by Laurel School, posting a four-player total of 382. Vera Swartz '27 led the Jaguars with an 83 and made two birdies and tying for 11th place as an individual during the long tournament round.
Willa Streeter '27 added a 92 and recorded another birdie for Saint Joseph Academy. Reese Cupach '29 finished with a 99, while Izzy Streeter '28 completed the Jaguars' scoring lineup with a 108. The four individual scores combined exactly for the team's 382 total.
Swartz's two birdies provided the Jaguars' lowest scoring moments of the day and helped secure the team's top individual round. Streeter's birdie highlighted her second-place finish within the Saint Joseph Academy lineup, giving the Jaguars three birdies among their two leading players.
