Wyoming Coaches Association Names 61 All-State Golfers for 2026
The Wyoming Coaches Association has named 61 student-athletes to its 2026 All-State Golf teams following the conclusion of the season. Under WCA guidelines, the top 10 finishers in each classification at the WHSAA State Golf Tournament earn all-state honors, including all golfers tied for 10th place.
The 2A girls selections are Tazlyn Wagner, Kemmerer; Ruth Needham, Reagan Huckfeldt and Julia Needham, Thermopolis; Kelsie Griffin and Allie Griffin, Ten Sleep; Claire Guinotte, Big Horn; Makini Mowery, Greybull; and Averie Moeller and Taylor Asheim, Sundance. The 2A boys honorees are Trevan Benson, Kemmerer; Colton Gerler, Wright; Zaide Bears, Hulett; William Byrd and Trevin Skinner, Big Horn; Trevin Shaffer and Ty Simeral, Thermopolis; Chase Juliano, Upton; Hudson Leimser, Niobrara County; and Cash Peterson, Sundance.
The 3A girls team includes Addison Bettinger, Buffalo; Haylie Nelson, Jaylen Kaufman, Tayen Wakkuri and Allie Keil, Wheatland; Emery Hernandez and Ali Scott, Powell; Addi Haught, Douglas; Kenley Wilson, Lovell; and Olivia Edmunds, Torrington. The 3A boys selections are Tate Nichols, Jacob Miller, Griff Nichols and Fletcher McKee, Wheatland; Cody Fisher, Powell; Bryson Kolb and Wyatt Coldiron, Buffalo; William Oland and Isaiah Webb, Lander Valley; and Easton Lewis, Tongue River.
The 4A girls honorees are Addie Plassmeyer and Abbi Worley, Laramie; Bella Beach, Cheyenne Central; Khloe Romo, Peyton Hamrick and Emmy Elston, Kelly Walsh; Alivia McKown and Austlynn Allen, Thunder Basin; Hannah Barnes, Sheridan; and Ashlyn Wiener and Eliana Hopkin, Cody. The 4A boys team includes Jaxon Burr, Campbell County; Brooks Watts, Parker Watts and Gibby Williams, Thunder Basin; Brock Lehning and Porter Stender, Laramie; Parker Rieger, Sheridan; Ronin Lavin, Kelly Walsh; Cade Kisling, Riverton; and Deegan Hill, Star Valley.
WCA Golf representative Mike Watson of Lander Valley High School thanked the local courses and state-level volunteers who supported regular-season and state events, as well as the coaches whose work extends from the course to the classroom. “Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2026 Golf Season such a memorable one,” Watson said. “We appreciate all that you do for the game of golf and look forward to another great season!” The WCA congratulates each all-state golfer and the member schools, coaches and families that supported their achievements.
