Avon High School Eagles Boys and Girls Bowling at SWC Championship

The Avon High School Eagles boys and girls varsity bowling teams faced off at the Southwest Conference (SWC) Championship at Spevock's on Feb. 11. The SWC event saw the Eagles boys finish in 7th place, while the girls secured 5th at the tournament. Amherst claimed the top positions in both categories, with their boys and girls teams winning the championship titles. The individual performances showcased the Eagles' talent. Notably, Grady Stipe finished 13th for the boys and Chris Egger came in 21st. For the girls, Kam Danielson excelled, securing 4th place, and Kylie Kittrell followed closely, securing the 11th position. Focusing on the next challenge, the Eagles will be looking to bring their prowess to the upcoming Sectional Tournament. The boys are scheduled to compete on Saturday, followed by the girls' participation on Sunday.
