Avon High School Eagles Fall to Lake Shoregals in Conference Clash

In a much-anticipated conference regular season basketball face-off, the Avon High School Eagles were defeated by the Lake Shoregals with a final score of 50-34 on December 11, 2024, at Lake. The Eagles, led by standouts Alaina Pagan and Jayde Palmer, each scoring 11 points, struggled to overcome a halftime deficit where they trailed 27-17. Despite their efforts, the Shoregals maintained their lead throughout the game. The loss marks the first of the season for the Eagles, bringing their record to 5-1. As for Jayde Palmer, she is probably the most athletic player on the floor tonight, and it showed with her work on both sides of the ball," he remarked.
