Avon High School Gymnastics Team Faces Tough Competition at Five-Star Gymnastics
Avon High School's gymnastics team, the Eagles, faced a challenging competition at the Five-Star Gymnastics center, where they competed against teams from Brunswick, Olmstead Falls, and Nordonia. Despite tough opponents and a high level of competition, the Eagles finished in 4th place with a team score of 123.15. Key performers Isa. Gianna, Emily and Ryan competed all around. Additionally, Ryan tied for 5th place on Vault and secured 5th place on Floor exercise, showcasing the team's potential and resilience. Looking ahead, the Eagles are set to compete next at the Twinsburg Gym World against Twinsburg, Padua, and Stow on December 28, 2024. The team is focused on improving their performances, continually raising their scores in the upcoming meets.
