Baseball team drops 3-0 decision to Toledo St. John's
Avon’s baseball team managed just one hit Saturday in taking a 3-0 loss to host Toledo St. John’s. The Eagles are now 1-3 and host Southwestern Conference foe Olmsted Falls on Monday before facing the Bulldogs on the road on Tuesday.
Leadoff hitter Owen Huron managed the only hit for Avon, a single. The left fielder also stole a base but then was left stranded as no other Eagle reached safely. Evan Masuga and Logan Millsaps pitched well for Avon, allowing just three runs on five hits.
