Boys soccer rolls past North Olmsted, next faces unbeaten Rocky River

Connor Britt had two goals and an assist Saturday as Avon’s boys soccer team rolled to a 5-1 non-conference victory over host North Olmsted, giving the Eagles eight wins and a tie in their last nine matches.
Also scoring goals for 9-1-2 Avon were Brayden Carlin and London Carnie, and Ryan Wadas put a shot on goal that resulted in an own goal by North Olmsted. In addition, Kyle Hallowell, Valentino Cruzado and Andy Kule each had an assist for the Eagles.
For the second time in three matches, Avon faces an undefeated team, as the Eagles next host 12-0 Rocky River on Monday in a non-conference affair. Last Wednesday, Avon put an end to Avon Lake's unbeaten season with a 2-0 victory.
