Boys volleyball drops four-set match at Amherst
Avon’s volleyball team had already swept Amherst twice this season, but on Tuesday the visiting Eagles ended up on the short end of the score in a four-set match. The Comets won the match by the scores of 26-24, 23-25, 25-15, 25-15.
Avon, 12-3, was led by Logan Lam with seven kills and two blocks, and Finn Petzinger with seven kills. Noah Mai added six kills and 13 digs, Kyle Partridge had two aces, two blocks and 10 digs, and Keegan Tarkany had 15 assists.
The Eagles will next be in action on Thursday when they travel to Strongsville.
