Eagles baseball drops 6-4 decision to Olmsted Falls
Olmsted Falls scored three runs in both the second and fourth innings and then held on for a 6-4 victory Monday over host Avon in a Southwestern Conference baseball matchup at Crushers Stadium. With the loss, the Eagles fall to 1-4 overall and 0-2 in SWC play.
Avon struggled on offense, managing just two hits, a triple by Sam Griffiths and a double by Trevor Sykora, who also walked, scored two runs, knocked in one and stole a base. Kyle Delury also had an RBI with a sacrifice fly.
The two teams will meet again on Tuesday at Olmsted Falls.
