Eagles remain undefeated in tennis with victory over Uniontown Lake
Avon’s boys tennis team continued its winning ways last week, winning four of the five matches against visiting Uniontown Lake to up its record to 3-0.
The Eagles easily won the three singles matches, with Aarav Kishorepuria winning, 6-4-6-0 at first singles, Blake Netschke taking second singles at 6-0, 6-1, and Ashton Schwanger blanking his opponent at third singles, 6-0, 6-0.
The doubles matches were much more competitive, with Avon’s Caleb Free and Grant Nagy taking first doubles by scores of 7-6 (7-4), 6-3, and Bidwat Mishra and Jaxen Springer falling at second doubles, 6-4, 7-5.
The Eagles will next be in action on Tuesday when they play at Medina Highland.
