Tennis team runs its record to 12-0 with sweep of Elyria
Avon’s boys tennis team continued its undefeated season Wednesday, winning all five matches against host Elyria without dropping a set. The Eagles are now 12-0 on the season.
Avon sophomore Aarav Kishorepuria won at first singles, 6-2, 6-2, while Blake Netschke won at second singles and Ashton Schwanger took third singles, both by scores of 6-0, 6-0. Bidwat Mishra and Jaxen Springer also blanked their opponents in first doubles, 6-0, 6-0, and Carter Free and Connor Till won second doubles by the scores of 6-0, 6-2.
Avon is scheduled to play at Bay on Thursday.
