In a matchup of highly-regarded teams that hope to make deep playoff runs in Division II, host Avon and Brecksville-Broadview Heights played to a 2-2 tie Saturday in non-conference boys soccer action. The Bees, 7-1-2, opened the scoring on a goal by Luka Zivkovic in the opening moments of the match. Avon, 8-2-2, answered just 2 minutes later with a goal by Mark Dushaj off an assist from London Carnie. Late in the first half, Brock Harman scored an unassisted goal to give the Eagles a 2-1 halftime lead. However, Avon was unable to score in the second half, and the Bees tied the score with a goal by Miles Crncevic midway through the period.
