Bay Girls Lacrosse celebrates Senior Night with 13-10 win over Wooster

Bay Girls Lacrosse capped its Senior Night with a 13-10 victory over Wooster on Tuesday at Bay Village, holding off a late push behind a balanced attack and steady play in goal. The Rockets celebrated 12 seniors before the opening draw, then delivered an offensive performance led by Layla Meaux, who scored five goals in the home win.

Gracie Fitchpatrick and Jill Tennant gave Bay plenty of support. Fitchpatrick finished with three goals and one assist, while Tennant added three goals and one assist as the Rockets built enough offense to stay in front. Hadley Clark also scored, and Kaitlyn Aquino contributed an assist as Bay spread production across the lineup.

The Rockets' decisive edge came from their ability to answer and maintain control when Wooster threatened to close the gap. Bay finished with 13 goals and got key stops from goalkeeper Sophia Crimaldi, who recorded 10 saves. Her work in the cage helped preserve the margin as Wooster tried to rally, especially in the second half, and allowed Bay to turn defensive stands into possession and scoring chances.
