Union Grove High School Broncos Face Tough Loss Against Oak Creek Knights
The Union Grove High School Broncos traveled to Oak Creek on May 13, 2025, for a challenging softball encounter against the Oak Creek Knights. Despite a determined effort, the Broncos faced a tough defeat with a final score of 0-9. Starting on the mound for the Broncos was pitcher Ciara Hage, who faced a strong lineup from Oak Creek. Hage took the loss for Union Grove HS Varsity Broncos. The starting pitcher went three innings, allowing seven runs (three earned) on six hits, striking out two and walking one. Marlee Lange took the mound and also completed three innings. Lange allowed two runs, walked three and struck out two. River Jamison, Emma Santarelli, and Ava Greening each collected one hit for Union Grove HS Varsity Broncos. Santarelli doubled on a fly ball to left in the first inning. Jamison singled on a ground ball to center field in the forth inning and Greening singled on a fly ball to center field in the fifth inning. Union Grove HS Varsity Broncos play at home on Thursday against Burlington in their next game.
