Union Grove HS Varsity Broncos had trouble keeping up with Sussex Hamilton in a 13-0 loss on Saturday. Sussex Hamilton were the first to get on the board in the second with a single, scoring one run. A triple by Sussex Hamilton lead to 2-0 in the top of the third inning and a homer to center field, scoring three runs in the top of the fifth for the Sussex Hamilton. Sussex Hamilton allowed zero hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 10 and walking three. Marlee Lange took the loss for Union Grove HS Varsity Broncos. The pitcher went seven innings, surrendering 13 runs (12 earned) on 18 hits, striking out one and walking two. Union Grove HS Varsity Broncos turned one double play in the game.
